Mmmm...

I just made myself a drink. This is what I did:

I took 1 coffee plunger and made 1 full strength coffee, but with 1/4 of the water.

Took 1 tall glass and added 3 teaspoons of milo and 2 teaspoons of sugar.

Mixed in the strong coffee and filled the glass with cold milk.

Yummy chocolate and coffee milk! Yay!

Today at work I told a lady that knows both Emma and Anja about the mean prank they pulled on me yesterday. She thought it was mean. So there.

Darren Hughes (or Ralph Malph as Emma likes to call him) came into the shop today. He was down here because he was speaking at the Diabetes society meeting. (Mum went, she thinks he's awesome. She also thinks it's cool that he would take the time to give a speech that wasn't blatantly plugging Labour one week before the election.) Apearantly he talked about how great the Kapiti Diabetic society is. How they not only look after their members, but do a lot to educate the public to prevent and catch it early and stuff.

Anyway, he came over to chat and I showed him that the other students working all had Labour wrist bands on. Yay for me! Then we talked about all the pamphlet addressing and delivering I have been doing. He reckons that Labour will win, but it will be close. Then he said, "but I definately know it will be us."

I said, "and how are you so sure?"

He replied that "the bean poll never lies."

The bean poll at the Coastlands muffin break has Labour way, way ahead.

Ooh... the results for the whole country are a bit close for my liking.

Anyway, it seems that this entry has been sponsored by coffee.

Hey, why is McDonalds coffee so hot? I like hot coffee, but not blister-my-tongue hot. I got one during my morning break today (and a hash brown!) and I couldn't drink it because I only had 5 minutes left. Maybe if I had milk it would have cooled it down a bit? I ended up microwaving it at lunch, only to chuck out the last 1/4 because I don't like Mcdonalds coffee anyay.

I got a mochachinno from taste bud intead.

I need to stop spending my money on caffeine.
